In light of the exciting commencement of March Madness, we are pumped to share  about some of our first JamQuest events of 2016! In the past couple of weeks, we’ve had two very successful and amazing basketball tournaments that have started to support 13 Kenyan children in their education! That’s crazy!!

Jenna Brady from Norfolk, MA organized a 3-on-3 basketball kpmstournament at King Philip Middle School
where she teaches! This was Jenna’s first time planning a JamQuest event, and it was one of the best we’ve ever had! The 40 participating 3-man teams got to hear about the children in Kenya that need support in education and health, and how getting involved with JamQuest can make a huge impact.  The tournament was full of basketball, refreshments and even a flash mob from the drama club! How amazing it is that we can make such an incredible difference for people around the world by simply doing what we love to do? The tournament at King Philip Middle School raised $1,760 to support Kenyan children; Jenna and all the participants efforts will go a long way to bring children one step closer to ending the cycle of poverty through education!

“Such a small effort can make a huge difference in the lives of these kids,” says Jack;  “I know by going through JamQuest I can see the actual differences our donations are making.”

What Jack and Jenna have learned in organizing their basketball tournaments is how small efforts go a long way, and how easy it is to get involved! Jenna put it best: “Who doesn’t love playing basketball and giving money to charity?”

Whether its through basketball, flash mobs, dance parties, staring contests, small efforts make big things happen! Join Jenna, Jack and our other World-Changers to get involved and raise money to change lives!
